چکیده
Strategies for waste valorisation from domestic and agro-industrial activities must be pursued, its use as a soil amendment is an interesting possibility. In this four-year study, the effect of applying municipal solid (MSW), farmyard manure (FYM), bottom wood ash supplemented with nitrogen (Ash + N), inorganic fertilization common in region (50 kg ha−1 N, P2O5 K2O) (Control) 70 N (High N) was assessed rainfed olive grove planted shallow low organic matter managed conventional tillage. The High treatment significantly increased yield comparison to other treatments (165% more than MSW), available proved main driver tree productivity. MSW FYM matter, well levels phosphorus cation exchange capacity, leaving good indications future production cycles, although during four years study these provided little trees. reduced (63% less MSW). result attributed part management system that did not allow development herbaceous vegetation, but also known “added interaction”, which excess might have contributed accelerate mineralization native aspect compromises sustainability strategy. Although are sometimes associated risks environmental contamination heavy metals, metals soils plant tissues were concern.

متن کاملOrganic and inorganic nitrogen amendments to soil as nematode suppressants.
Inorganic fertilizers containing ammoniacal nitrogen or formulations releasing this form of N in the soil are most effective for suppressing nematode populations. Anhydrous ammonia has been shown to reduce soil populations of Tylenchorhynchus claytoni, Helicotylenchus dihystera, and Heterodera glycines. The rates required to obtain significant suppression of nematode populations are generally i...
متن کاملolive mill by-products application: organic olive orchard yield performance and soil fertility
seasonal accumulation and incorrect disposal of olive mill by-products may be detrimental to the environment. conversely, their proper recycling as soil amendments may be a sustainable solution. therefore, the objectives of this three-year field trial were: (i) investigating the effects of olive mill wastewater (omw) and pomace compost (pc) on plant nutritional status and yield in an organic ol...

This study was conducted to compare the impact of various organic amendments with different C/N ratios and chemical compositions on biological and chemical degradation of Atrazine in sterile and non-sterile soils. The experiment was carried out in a factorial arrangement (2×6×2) including two soil types (sterile and non sterile soils), six types of organic amendments (vermicompost, cow manure, ...
متن کاملاثر مواد آلی بر خواص شیمیایی خاک، جذب عناصر به وسیله ذرت و عملکرد آن
Due to high production of organic residues such as sewage sludge and compost, land application is probably the best way to prevent accumulated residues in the environment. However, the risk involved in the land application of organic residues should be evaluated prior to the assessment of their economic and fertilizer values. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of organic res...
